Celebrating summer
23 Jun 2025
Two community events were organized in the past week at ºÚÁÏÍø.
Just one day ahead of the summer solstice, ºÚÁÏÍø staff gathered for a summer luncheon party. It had been a busy week, with a meeting of the ºÚÁÏÍø Council, the lifting of a second "segment" of the vacuum vessel into the tokamak pit, and a semestrial all-staff meeting offering the opportunity to ask questions, and receive answers, about project status and plans for the future.
An early start to the day for dozens of participants to the International Yoga Day event on the ºÚÁÏÍø site. Hosted by the newly established Consulate General of India in Marseille, in cooperation with the ºÚÁÏÍø Organization, the event was organized before the start of the workday on Monday 23 June.
